SRware Iron is a Web browser built over the Google Chromium browser architecture. SRware Iron is developed by SRware and works as a fast, sleek, extension-supported Web browser similar to Chrome but enriched with improvised security and privacy management features and capabilities. SRware Iron is built on the same concept as the Comodo Dragon browser, which is also a Chrome clone.

SRware Iron provides almost the same front-end user experience and functionality as Chrome, but differs substantially in how the browser handles user-specific data at the back end. SRware Iron doesn’t compromise user privacy, and avoids user behavior monitoring and other tracking features that are defaults on Chrome.
SRware Iron prevents the creation and transmission of installation ID to Google every time Iron is installed. It also blocks suggestions provided using Google Instant and the sharing of browser usage statistics. Besides eliminating most of the privacy issues Chrome may present to users, SRware Iron provides an additional layer of security with the inclusion of an integrated ad blocker, which can be easily configured to prevent the display of pop-up ads.
