BitComet is a freeware cross-protocol BitTorrent, HTTP and FTP client written in C++ for Microsoft Windows. It includes a multithreaded multiprotocol hybrid download manager and a BitTorrent peer-to-peer file sharing application.
BitComet was orginally called SimpleBT client.
